We booked this accommodation for my disabled mother a 2 kids who were joining us on Gozo a few days after our arrival. We (my partner and 2 kids) were staying with family who live on Gozo. We found this place to be exceptional. Beautiful marble floors and clean, the room had remote air con which worked wonderfully. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was included and from reports from my mother and 2 kids this was lovely too. The pool area was small but clean, the pool was clear and deep. We were allowed to join my mum and all the kids played for hours swimming and fun in pool. An absolute pleasure to meet the owners who were locals and found them to be helpful even driving my disabled mum and 2 kids into town and dropping them off to get some dinner on their first night. Would highly recommend this hotel without a second thought, even planning another visit and this I hope will be our accommodation next year,  Thank you. Tripadvisor Link

Great clean environment : We went for 3 nights and enjoyed it so much. Room was big, clean and had pool view. Breakfast was good great choices. Pool area was clean, peaceful and relaxing. Excellent hotel : Just returned from the beautiful island of Gozo and our stay at the Mariblu hotel. This family run hotel is situated in an excellent location in east reach of the islands capital city. It is exceptionally well maintained with an extremely high standard of cleanliness throughout. Rooms are large and comfortable and ours had a massive terrace with countryside views. There is a reasonable sized swimming pool with sun loungers for relaxation in a very peaceful setting. There is a good choice at breakfast and the owners go that extra mile to ensure guests are made welcome, including even collecting us from the ferry point. Excellent relaxing experience: We spent the weekend in this absolutely perfect place. It’s 10 mins from Mgarr and very easy to find, we had a car but there’s a bus stop just in front of the BB with frequent buses till late. The room was perfect, on the 2nd floor, new furniture, nice bathroom, very comfortable bed, kettle with cups and coffee, a small fridge, air conditioned, tv, free WIFI and a beautiful big terrace overlooking the fields that we already miss so much. There’s a swimming pool with tables and sunbeds and the place is very quiet. 5 mins by car from Victoria and it’s easy to reach the destinations in the vicinity, like Xlendi Bay. Breakfast was very good, with croissants, jam, toasts, orange juice, milk, coffee, cereals, ham, salami, cheese and eggs prepared at the moment by the lady. It is possible to have breakfast inside or near the swimming pool. The price was ok, cheap considered that it’s peak season and that we had a beautiful and absolutely clean room. I’d like to thank the owner and all the staff for being so nice and helpful. They speak english, maltese and italian. Tripadvisor Link

Lovely, friendly place : I spent Friday night here when I was in Gozo. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed, including excellent wifi! There is plenty of on street parking close by. The family are lovely, very friendly and helpful. If I’m ever back in Gozo I would stay here. Tripadvisor Link

Mariblu where else in Gozo? Me and my family stayed in Mariblu only for one night but that was enough to make us take a decision for the future…..we don’t have to bother anymore where to stay when we go next to Gozo just book Mariblu. Cleanliness is impressive, staff go beyond their normal tasks to make your holiday enjoyable, Breakfast delicious and more than enough. Our room was large and spacious with balcony on the pool side with a large bathroom and an aircondition and very quite. Mariblu is only a couple of minutes away from Victoria the capital city of Gozo. It is also not far from Mgarr harbour where the port terminal is. Maria and Frankie (the owners) have enough experience to give advice on everything about Gozo. Yes we will defenately book here again whenever we go to Gozo and, since we live in Malta, we go there about three or four times each year. Thanks Maria and Frankie. Tripadvisor Link

Pleasant September stay: Ideal position, Open pool area, beautiful, spacious rooms, thoroughly cleaned daily, are full of comfort: TV, WIFI, fridge, good air conditioning, a fan, tea and coffee making facilities and spotlessly clean sheets and towels are changed daily. Substantial choice of continental or breakfast buffet selection. Even though our family room was on the first floor and overlooking the main road, we heard nothing. Thanks to the friendly and helpful owners and the Staff of the Mariblu Hotel we had booked a weekend stay and ended up spending ten days visiting this peaceful island. Really good hospitality : Spotless, spacious rooms.Great location, just 10 minute bus to the city of Victoria. The staff are really nice and welcoming, and helped us to get around the island. Vegan options at breakfast – fresh fruit, as well as omelettes made upon request and a continental buffet with cereal, pastries etc.

Fantastic stay : We began our trip by taking a full day tour of Malta and Gozo on the Barbarossa boat cruise. It was value for money and a great day swimming and snorkelling. Maria and Frankie were great hosts during our stay taking us to and back from the ferry terminal. Breakfast was very good and you could choose how you would like your eggs to be cooked in the morning. The room was well air-conditioned and had plenty of space for the 3 of us. Tripadvisor Link

To Mariblu for post-Easter reprieve We returned to Mariblu for our post-Easter 3-day getaway. Same large room overlooking pool and Xewkija parish church. On main thoroughfare to Rabat, yet with enough setback to provide peace and tranquillity. Great wholesome breakfast and lunch buffets at extraordinary prices. Great Hotel! It was our first time in Gozo. We absolutely loved the location and the room. Our room was large with a kitchenette. Maria and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful. Mariblu B&B is a family run guest house and it is in a pretty city, Xewkija. Correspondence and arrangements were very efficient. We stayed only 3 days in Gozo and in this lovely B&B.The owners are welcoming people. Frankie is a helpful nice guy, also he organizes boat/jeep tour and has a diving centre as well. Maria is a lovely owner as well as a brilliant cook, I’ll never forget the amazing ham and cheese omelette for breakfast, and the simply but tasty courses who she is used to cook in their restaurant. Our room was 2 doors next to the main pink building. 3 bedrooms (we were only 2), en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette, huge and comfortable. The room was on the roadside and a bit noisy in the night, wi fi connection ok in the room but good in the rest of the B&B. Design and furniture “vintage” but really convenient and spotless. Downstairs there was the common space, a big clean kitchen and a swimming pool. Superb buffet breakfast and cooked food served in the restaurant with the view on the internal garden and another swimming pool. Great service and value for money. Lovely and helpful owners. We would definitely consider it again and recommend it when visiting the beautiful Gozo. Tripadvisor Link

Clean, friendly and good value Located within 5-10 minutes walk of the beautiful Church of St John The Baptist in Xewkija, and on the main road with easy access by bus to Victoria (Rabat) and the ferry from Gozo to Malta. We loved staying in Gozo: quiet, friendly people, very little of the touristy feel of places like Bugibba. Maria treated us like family and her personalble hospitality was a highlight of our stay. Two small but clean pools, breakfast every morning of omelettes, toast, juice and pastries. This is not a luxury hotel but for the money, a good value and the kind of place normal people who don’t need to spend a lot of money to enjoy a nice vacation go.An indication of this: across from our flat were staying a nice couple from Malta on a short holiday to Gozo. Great place to stay Returning to the Mariblu after 13 years – far too long – we found it as friendly and welcoming as ever. The owners arranged transport from Malta airport and met us off the island’s ferry. It’s a great base for exploring Gozo, well away from the bright lights of the resorts but close to the bus route between the harbour and the capital.Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and good food was prepared and served by friendly staff. A real bonus was the trips the Mariblu offered by the owner and his family: we enjoyed a guided jeep safari around the main sights of the island and had a memorable trip on the yacht Barbarossa to the little island of Comino and its Blue and Crystal Lagoons, with great swimming from the boat and a visit by inflatable dinghy to the caves. Tripadvisor Link

Nice B&B – It feels like home!!Just returned from an amazing weekend in the Island of Gozo. Staying at the Mariblu B&B felt like home and made it easy for us to go around the island of Gozo. It was also easy to find a parking space. The staff are very helpful, and they did their utmost to make our stay at the B&B a great one. The B&B is very clean and served us a good breakfast in the morning. Frankie and Maria wonderful people.I was lucky to have stayed with Frankie and Maria in one of their farm houses.
While i was on holiday i unfortunately broke my ankle. Both Frankie and Maria went out of there way to help me. They are truly fantastic people and made it less painful by arranging an ambulance from gonzo to the airport in Malta and arrived at the farm house to direct the ambulance at 6 o’clock in the morning they took it upon themselves to fax all my hospital letter to the insurance company to make the process so much easier for me . they truly give 1000% customer service in all they do. Beautiful place. Halfway between ferry and capital of island. Bus stop in front. Best service, familiar. Large rooms. Next to neolithic and other archeologic/historical sites (Ggantija temples, Dolmen, Cart Ruts, Windmills and museum, Calypso grotta) the biggest church ever found in such a small place (view on church, very near) Services: WLan, boat, diving, shuttle, Swimming pool, Excellent restaurant. Tripadvisor Link
